About Alexandro Sforza
Born in Mexico City and raised in a loving, albeit challenging, environment, Alexandro Sforza’s journey has been marked by resilience, determination, and a profound love for life’s colorful experiences. From walking to school with his father, who carried his children’s backpacks with pride, to cherishing moments of family dinners and academic support, Alexandro’s early years were rooted in values of empathy, hard work, and connection.
His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue education both in Mexico and the United States. After completing one year of college in Mexico, Alexandro embarked on a transformative journey to the U.S., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northeastern University and later obtained a law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law. Though he was unable to pass the bar exam, this setback never deterred his drive; instead, it fueled his resilience and commitment to personal and professional growth.
Alexandro’s career flourished in the luxury retail industry, where he held prominent positions at prestigious establishments such as Hermès of Paris, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gucci, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., and Kay Jewelers, where he served as General Manager for the flagship store in New York City. However, the pandemic drastically altered his path, leading to the loss of his position—a challenging chapter that became a turning point in his life.
Seeking new opportunities, Alexandro transitioned to Nantucket, where he discovered his love for the hospitality and events industry. While building his vision for Tinker’s Bars, he also embraced a full-time role as an Advertising Sales Professional with The Inquirer and Mirror, Nantucket’s longstanding newspaper. In this position, Alexandro combines his communication skills, strategic thinking, and passion for community engagement to support local businesses and bridge gaps within the Spanish-speaking community on the island.
Now, as the visionary behind Tinker’s Bars, Alexandro channels his wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for hospitality into crafting unparalleled bar adventures. With a lifelong love for creating joyful moments and a dedication to excellence, Alexandro is poised to share his passion for connection, laughter, and unforgettable experiences with every patron.
